Where the data comes from
Every provider record on this site is reproduced from the NPPES public dissemination file, a public-domain dataset that CMS releases for anyone to use. We import a fresh copy each month and present it in a faster, link-friendly format. We do not add to, edit, or correct individual records, and we do not independently verify them.
We do not verify individual records
Because we reproduce the registry as published, a record on FindMyNPI is only as accurate as what the provider filed with CMS. Details can be out of date, incomplete, or entered incorrectly at the source. We have no way to confirm that any single record is current or correct, and the presence of a record here is not a statement by us about that provider.

The official NPPES registry at npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov is the authoritative source, and individual records here may lag it by up to thirty days.
